Sausage Recall In Missouri
views: 152
Something isn't quite right in Missouri today, as meat emporium T. Piekutowski European Style Sausage is recalling about 750 pounds of sausage products. According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture, these sausage produces may be contaminated with Listeria, a bacterium that can cause a deadly infection.
The bad meat was sold in St. Louis, Missouri on December 18th and 19th. People who purchased meat from T. Piekutowski on those days should be aware that consumption of food contaminated with Listeria can cause listeriosis, an uncommon but potentially deadly illness.
Presumably, the actual methods of recall are slightly more sophisticated than those depicted in the accompanying artwork.
